Hello everyone!
I know it's been too long since I've posted anything here. Lisa and I
have been staying busy writing and recording new songs that the Lord
has graciously given us. We are still going to have at least one new song a month
as the Lord gives us the ability.
I have been reconnected with an old friend from years ago in the music business, Jay Lankford.
He has been the inspiration for getting me back into music. He is responsible for getting
me focused on doing things for the Lord. That is why we are here.
In 1996 our band "Cheyenne" was invited to audition for a part in a movie.
The person in charge of the music production would turn out to be this friend.
We were chosen. Did our part. The movie flopped! Still a great experience.
Anyone who has ever been a part of the music business understands that it's not always
fun and games. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.
In 1998, I decided to leave the music behind and focus on my family. I have fought any desire
to get back into it until a few months ago when this friend asked me to help him with some
new songs that he had written. The spark has been rekindled!
I said I would, but only to help him.
The Lord had a different plan!
Jesus has given me the desire and ability to write songs to lift up His name. Every song that we have written, and will write, come from Him only. I pray that His anointing be on every one and all who hear these songs be touched by the Holy Spirit.
So to sum it up, it has been a whirlwind these past four months.
